Direct Stewardship. Maximum student impact. Every contribution fuels hands-on discovery and opportunities.
The Academy of Leonardo’s Apprentice is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit research and development organization. We operate with lean overhead to ensure that resources flow directly into the hands of secondary students and educators.
When you support our programs, you are not funding administrative bloat. You are funding the physical hardware, computational tools, and expert instructional design required to turn curiosity into real-world technical mastery.

When you support our work, you are not funding administrative bloat. Our mission focuses on opening doors for underserved youth—including foster youth, children from single-parent households, and students experiencing homelessness. Your support equips them with the physical hardware, computational tools, and mentorship required to build real technical mastery and discover a future of opportunity.
- Hands-On Lab Hardware & Prototyping Kits: Microcontrollers, sensors, radio frequency tools, antenna wire, and 3D fabrication materials placed directly in the hands of students.
- Software, Simulations & Spatial Tools: Student workstation access, CAD tools, 3D simulation environments, and computational software licenses needed to design and model solutions.
- Curriculum, Educator Mentorship & Capstones: Structured project frameworks, teacher support materials, and direct coaching that enable public school classrooms to execute advanced CTE engineering projects.
Tangible Impact: What Your Gifts Provide
- $50 – Student Hardware Kit: Provides one underserved student with a physical computing kit (microcontroller, sensor pack, and components)for hands-on experimentation.
- $250 – Team Prototyping Sponsor: Funds specialized testing tools, 3D printing supplies, and antenna/radio fabrication components for a collaborative CTE project team.
- $1,000 – School Capstone Partner: Underwrites an entire semester of project curriculum, lab supplies, and expert instructional mentoring for a public school classroom.
